Scott Parker

Owner and Head Trainer

 Scott's interest in professional dog training began as a hobby. Scott was a full-time Sheriff's Sergeant at the Salt Lake County Jail in Utah and began competing in dog sports to unwind during his leisure time. This led him to the challenging protection sport of French Ring where dog handlers demonstrate their dog's skills in high-level obedience, agility, and protection. The dog's tenacity and bravery are tested by a qualified "decoy" in a protective bite suit, making it a very exciting sport to watch! Scott retired from law enforcement and turned his full attention to dog sport competition and training pet dogs for clients. Scott mentored with several talented dog trainers, particularly David Broderick and Sean Knudsen, owners of the Innovative K9 Academy in Utah. Scott worked at Innovative K9 as a trainer and worked with hundreds of dogs of all breeds, ages, sizes, and temperaments.  
Scott and his wife Jasmine realized a long-time dream and relocated from Utah to the beautiful PNW, finding a small farm property in Days Creek, Oregon that felt just right. Scott and his competition dog Fiero advanced to the highest level of French Ring in early 2020, and are currently training for this year's national championship trial.

Jasmine was introduced to dog training through her husband Scott's passion for dog sports. She spent almost 15 years working for the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office/Unified Police Department. She enjoys working with her dogs Corgi Elphaba and German Shepherd Nessarose.
